Newspaper Nailz!

 

These nailz are really easy to do and have a great effect!

I used:

• Rimmel - Peppermint (Any light colour will do)
• Newspaper
• Nailene - Strong Acrylic Top Coat (any top coat will do)
• Water
• Cotton wool

How I Did It:

1.  Paint two coats of your chosen colouron your nail (i used Rimmel - Peppermint)
2. Then get a bowl of water and while the 2nd coat of nail varnish is still slightly sticky get a square of newspaper the size of your nail and place it face down on your nail.
3. Get some cotton wool and put it in the water and then hold it down on your nail over the newspaper for about 15 seconds.
4. Then take of the cotton wool and gently peel of the newspaper and it should leave the newspaper print on. (dont worry if some of the paper stays there too.)
5. Repeat steps 1 -5 on each nail.
6. Then dip your finger in the water and gently rub your nail to get any paper off, do this for all your nails.
7. Then to finish apply a clear top coat and a coat of glitter (my faviourite is Collection 2000 - Sparkle Top Coat.)

Purple Ombre/Gradient Nailz!

I love these nailz! Ive been wanting to do this on my nails for ages!









I used:
Pink Tease - White
Claires cosmetics - Purple
George  - Mysterious
Barry M - Viva Purple
Collection 2000 - Sparkle Top Coat
Pink Tease - Black
1 cosmetic sponge

How i did them:

1. First i applied two coats of my White nail varnish.
2. Once both coats of the white have dried, i put some Claires Cosmetics  Purple on the edge of the cosmetic sponge and starting at the top of the nail and working your way down dab the Purple onto the nail leaving 1/4 of the nail at the bottom white. Do this on all of your nailz.
3. Next i dabbed some George Mysterious halfway down the nail so you can still see some of the Purple at the bottom.
4. Then on the edge of the nail i dabbed some Barry M Viva Purple.
5. Once that has dried i put a tiny amount of Black on the sponge and dabbed it just on the tip of each nail.
6. To finish the design of i put one coat of Sparkle Top Coat by Collection 2000 on.

Dotting Pens

These  are  my dotting pens they are really easy to use and create really good effects!

Polka Dot Nailz

I love these and they are so easy to do! They look like toadstools.

All you need is a red, a white nail art pen and a top coat!





How i did them:

1. First i applied a thin base coat.
2. Then i put on two coats of the Red nail varnish. (you may only need one coat depending on the nail varnish.)
3. After the nail varnish had dried i used my nail art pen and made lots of dots on each of my nailz. (If you have one you could use a dotting pen depending on the size you want your dots to be.)
4. Once everything had dried i put on a thin top coat.

Diamante Nailz

I love these diamante nailz!

 I used:
OPI- My Private Jet
Sally Hansen- Maximum Growth
BYS - Nail Art Gems







Heres how i did them:

1. First i applied a clear base coat of Sally Hansen Maximum Growth.
2. Then I applied two coats of OPI My Private Jet.
3. Before the second coat of the opi is dries place in a straight lane down your little finger nail three nail art gems. (no glue needed most gems will stick to nail varnish.)
4. To finish apply a clear top coat.

Starfish Nailz

I Love these starfish nailz and they are so easy to do!











The nail varnishes i used were:
OPI- Start to Finish
Rimmel - Peppermint
Models own - Indian Ocean
Claires Cosmetics - Orange
Pink Tease - White

Heres how i did it:

1. First i applied a thin base coat. I used OPI Start to Finish.
2. Once the base coat had fully dried  i painted on two coats of Rimmel Peppermint.
3. After both of those coats had dried i applied one coat of glitter. i used Indian Ocean by Models Own But any glitter will work.
4. Then i got an orange nail varnish and made star shape on each nail, putting the star in a different place on each nail.
5. Then i used my white nail varnish and my dotting pens and put dots on the starfish. (Dotting pens are VERY easy to use and i bought mine on Amazon. I will put a link at the end of this post.)
6. Finally after all coats have dried, i put a top coat on, using OPI Start to Finish.
